this is a disclaimer:

I know it doesn’t seem as if i am taking things seriously, welll…ok. This is a very delicate subject, one that needs to be approached very lightly. In the process i may be stripping away the delicate layers of denial I wrapped each and every one of my past relationships in before laying them to rest, along with any incrimidating evidence. This will also require the exposure of any of my future POV of the self and the relationships reguarding the self as fraud, showing infact that everything is not merely tinged with but steeped in geek. In the undertaking of this project I am having multiple identity crisises nall at once…and this hurts. Not really, actually I am just brushing up on my mad writing skillz… and procrastinating. I will write the book…in its entirity the NIGHT before the day of the Project Fair. God Bless self-Induced stress, it is the essential god of all things creatiive, the grey-hair enducing nectar of life. NO! THREE HOURS!!! HAHA!! THREE HOURS BEFORE THE FAIR!!! It will be THAT good!!!! muhahaha.

two weeks

two weeks: what do i want to have accomplished in two weeks? prolly a nice synopsis/general and chapters, direction, a project plan, roughs of a chapter or two, general research, a few testimonials, a sanity maintance emergency kit…a vacation. a visual display for the “fair”. a thing. anything. I wonder how well “Project TITS and ASS” will go over in the project fair. tehehe.

Bryan mentioned looking into publication things, i don’t know if exposing the world to this is the best idea. But in the spirit of that, i need to think of a good alias, i think a thirty something male chicken farmer from kansas will be good. I think the picture on the back should have a nice, skinny, dirty flannel wearing, balding man smiling a wicked missing tooth (2 or so will sufice) grin holding a chicken. his name will be um….Neil…that way if you say it fast enough it kinda sounds like Neo and that will feed the Matrix fan following, he could even be holding a white rabbit. I can only begin to imagine how well agents will take to this man. *wig yes, i wrote wig, get over it.

Stealing Innocence was an amazing short film by nancy Stein. The narrative was alittle monotonous at first but when the story line picked it was captivating. tragic look at the realities of the Israeli/Palinstine conflict. MUST SEE

Blue Screen of Death

sitting in the little pizza place downtown middlebury, aaron convinced me to write the book. I would like to pretend i am not that big of a geek, but alas alak… i can always hide behind an elaborate laberinth of pen names and s/n’s and remain safe in my denial atleast until the talk shows call. Even then i am sure i will be able to hide my identity behind one of those bubbles you always see on the Girls Gone Wild info-merrcials. I will be ok. I WILL be ok. I am not a geek. I am way too cute to be a geek. hehehehe.

Just say no.

Multimedia project on relationships on multimedia? hmm. may…be. needs some looking into, still not sold. Like i said before…when it comes to relationships with comp sci ppl just say no, to any aspect…especially analysis. what do i need? direction. must find direction, aspects i could cover…relationships online and offline and how both are effected/influenced by technology…addictive personalities and gaming, the abuse that comes from this situation (neglect?), pda/phones/email/aim/ect and the increase/ease of staying in touch, moral issues and identity online, community forming online, bdsm community, lgbt community, pro-anorexia communities, domestic violence and the web as a source of getting help…more to come, food calls

i could call the book/thesis: “troubleshooting information technology systems and assumed sexual sanctions” and in the spirit of everything comp sci, i could come up for a cute little acronym…TITS and ASS: dating in the world of geeks. Brilliance!!! sheer brilliance. Ok, i am NOT that bad. but it is tempting…hehehe.

Walking through the bookstore the other day, i came across this little pink book, The Between Boyfriends Book, kind of turned off by the name i picked it up anyway and read the cover. Needless to say I went back the next day in one of those few and far between moments that i actually have money and bought it. I haven’t put it down since, and i laugh…so much so that i am sure people think i have lost my mind. YOU MUST READ THE EXCERTS!!!
